SCCY have been making quality, affordable compact 380acp and 9mm pistols for some years (over 500,000 units since 1998) and have really toiled to iron out reliability, safety and customer desires in a small concealable package. I honestly admire the fact that Tool & Die maker Mr Roebuck has stuck to his guns (so to speak) and really focused on a single platform with a nice array of options to meet different shooters' requirements. Personally I like a manual safety and have never had an issue with forgetting to disable it upon draw - of all the companies producing polymer handguns these days, SCCY is one of only a couple of manufacturers who provide this feature on a DAO pistol (Ruger being the other).  Now SCCY has been everyone else to the punch by releasing a top rate EDC 9mm with a crimson trace red dot installed for under $350!!! What's more to say, these will move faster than fresh apple cider donuts on a cold autumn day! Kudos. This from their website:
