​American Gunsmithing Institute offers complete Certified Professional Gunsmithing courses and a variety of affordable DVD gunsmithing courses that can be viewed in the comfort of one's home and at one's leisure. Unlike traditional schooling, the DVD's are 100% instruction and can be played over and over again for reinforcement. AGI instructors are all working Master Gunsmiths who provide their students the highest quality instruction available. ​

​CODY FIREARMS MUSEUM (WY)

The Cody Firearms Museum, Buffalo Bill Center of the West houses a collection of over 7,000 historically significant firearms and more than 30,000 firearms-related artifacts, including the factory records for Winchester, Marlin, and LC Smith. The museum tells the stories of firearms throughout the world beginning in the 1400s and continuing through modern inventions.

​FIFTY CALIBER SHOOTERS ASSOC (UT)

FCSA was founded in 1985 to advance the sporting uses of the .50 BMG around the world by promoting the safe and enjoyable use of the cartridge in formal rifle competition and private target shooting. They publish the quarterly magazine Very High Power as well as the exclusive Suppliers Directory which lists all vendors of 50 BMG related products. They have members throughout the US and in many foreign countries and a full schedule of sanctioned 1000 yard matches. ​

NATIONAL 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS (MD)

​NATIONAL HUNTING & FISHING DAY (MO)

National Hunting and Fishing Day was formalized by Congress in 1971 to convey the message that conservation in America succeeds because of hunters and anglers. This year is the 45th anniversary of National Hunting and Fishing Day. Today, through fees and excise taxes, over 34 million hunters and anglers generate $100,000 every 30 minutes for fish, wildlife and habitat programs. There are many ways to get involved with NHF Day.

The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association exists to promote, support, nurture, and preserve NMLRA’s and our nation’s rich historical heritage in the sport of muzzleloading through recreational, educational, historical, and cultural venues such as match competition, hunting, gun making and safety, historical re-enactments, exhibits, museums, libraries, and other related programs.

The mission of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is to enhance the performance and professional status of law enforcement personnel by providing a credible and proven training resource as well as a forum for the development of tactics and information exchange. The Association's ultimate goal is to improve public safety and domestic security through training, education and tactical excellence. The NTOA also provides real world testing of law enforcement products, through it Member Tested and Recommended Program.

​NATIONAL WILD TURKEY FEDERATION (SC)

"The NWTF is dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage." The NWTF has launched Save The Habitat. Save The Hunt. initiative. It is a far reaching national effort essential to the future of the upland habitat and wildlife. Over the coming years, we must raise $1.2 billion to have a long-lasting impact on conservation and hunting. We will conserve and enhance 4 million acres of critical upland wildlife habitat and create 1.5 million hunters and establish 500,000 new acres of hunting access.

​NFATCA (NONPROFIT SUPPORTING 2A) (TX)

The NFATCA is a 501(c)(6) organization incorporated to get things done on behalf of the National Firearms Act community. They work with many organizations, the public and the BATF on a daily basis to insure that the things that matter to you are represented and addressed. They do not flood your mailbox with junk, they do not jump at every hiccup; they take their time to methodically insure that your interests are fairly and properly represented.

​NSSF PROJECT CHILDSAFE (CT)

Project ChildSafe was launched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation in 1998 to demonstrate the industry’s commitment to safety and responsibility. Their goal is to educate firearms owners on how they can practice safe firearm storage and help prevent firearms accidents, theft and misuse. They also work closely with retailers, ranges, manufacturers and other industry members who want to help promote this important message.

​QUAIL & UPLAND WILDLIFE FEDERATION (CONSERVATION) (MO)

The only multi-species conservation organization in the U.S., founded and managed by a U.S. Veteran. In 2014 QUWF has impacted 2.6 Million acres of wildlife habitat and our chapters spent over $138 million dollars on their passion, in their local communities. QUWF chapters retain the most pure dollars at the local level, for local projects across the U.S. If you do not "turn-the-dirt" with QUWF, it does not count. For over 30 years the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has remained a leader in wildlife conservation and hunting heritage. Together with their partners, RMEF has completed 9,738 conservation and hunting heritage outreach projects with a combined value of more than $1 billion. Those projects have conserved or enhanced more than 6.7 million acres, opened or secured public access to 823,586 acres, restored elk to historic ranges in more than six states and connected hundreds of thousands of individuals to the hunting heritage message. Hunting is Conservation. ​

​SCHOLASTIC SHOOTING SPORTS FOUNDATION (TX)

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is the leader in youth development shooting sports programs. Using a combination of education and athletics, we work to enhance the growth and personal development of student athletes throughout the nation. Through a variety of fun, team-based shooting tournaments in both our Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Pistol Program (SPP), we provide student athletes with a supportive environment where shooting sports serve as catalysts for teaching life lessons.

40-year-old tax-exempt foundation focusing on public education and legal action in defense of firearms civil rights. The Foundation publishes TheGunMag.com monthly print and on- line editions, as well as Women & Guns bi-monthly magazine and website, the Journal on Firearms and Public Policy annual, and the Gottlieb-Tartaro monthly newsletter. The Foundation also maintains an attorney referral service and fosters several community education projects.

An international membership organization with over 100,000 members worldwide, The Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) is the sanctioning and governing body of the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting and Wild Bunch Action Shooting. SASS promulgates safety and consistency in shooting competitions for its more than 700 affiliated clubs across the globe. SASS produces End of Trail, the World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting. The SASS Convention, publishes The Cowboy Chronicle, monthly, and operates the Founders Ranch Shooting Facility in New Mexico.

United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) (WI)

The USCCA is the first and largest, member association designed to educate, train, and insure responsibly armed Americans. The USCCA provides self-defense liability insurance, and a wealth of industry information including expert advice, product information, and the latest news centered around the concealed carry lifestyle. The USCCA publishes Concealed Carry Magazine, hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, Armed American Radio, and offers the USCCA Instructor Program as a resource for firearms & CCW instructors.

US Fish & Wildlife Service

This program and the partnerships it fosters are among the most successful conservation efforts in the nation's rich history of fish and wildlife management. Industry partners pay excise taxes and import duties on equipment and gear for purchase by hunters, anglers, boaters, archers, and recreational shooters. Eligible States receive the funds for fish and wildlife conservation. Since 1937, the WSFR Program/State/Industry partnership has provided about $16 billion of federal funds, matched with approximately $5.3 billion provided by the states.

USA Shooting is the national governing body for international shooting in the U.S. Its mission is to prepare American athletes to win Olympic and Paralympic medals, promote the shooting sports throughout the U.S., and govern the conduct of international shooting in the country. Partially funded by the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Shooting relies on donations from supporters of the Olympic movement, membership dues, event fees and the corporate partners who take a strong interest in the development of the U.S. Shooting Team.

Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management, Kansas State University (KS)

Wildlife and outdoor enterprise management is a unique major offered through the Department of Horticulture, Forestry, and Recreation Resources in the College of Agriculture.  As the program’s informational website states, “this four-year university program is the first Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree to be created to train professional operational managers for hunting/shooting preserves and resorts, gamebird production companies, fishing resorts and outdoor experience companies (i.e., trailriding, nature study, bird watching, back country hiking/camping, etc.). ​
