RUGER PC CARBINE: lazarus resurrected & new and improved

I think we've all lamented Ruger's decision some years ago to drop their Police Carbine in 9MM and 40S&W, but true to their resurrecting form they've brought it back to life in a new and improved version called the PC9 (so far only in 9mm as the moniker implies, but I think we can expect a PC40 and a PC45 at some point in the future). And it's got it all and more including takedown ability, ambidextrousness, threaded fluted barrel, adjustable stock length, ghost-ring sights AND a picatinny rail plus the ability to change out the trigger with any 10/22 aftermarket offerings. Oh, and lets not forget it takes both Ruger SR9mm mags OR Glock magazines with a quick switcharoo of the mag well. I'm seeing these go "OUT OF STOCK" minutes after we get email alerts that they're back in stock, so it's safe to say Ruger has hit a homerun with this well thought-out carbine for a huge and demanding PCC market with limited non-AR type offerings. Update 4/16/18: It's worth noting that less than 100% reliability seems to be experienced by multiple reviewers so my guess it's an issue with the takedown aspect of the carbine, where the breech is being knocked out of perfect alignment (even by a couple thousand's of an inch) during battery and causing failures. A fixed barrel option is probably on the cards (less useful for those who like this as a bugout gun but better for those that don't) and will undoubtedly remedy the problem. ED.
