The Rossi R92 in 44MAG or 357MAG is one of the optimum horsepower (i.e. big Power, low Weight, diminutive Dimensions) firearms on the market. In other words it offers just about the most punch (via the formidable 44MAG and 357MAG cartridges) possible in the shortest, lightest package. Capacity aside, either of these cartridges are one-shot-stoppers so providing your first or second or third shot are on target, 30 round magazines are simply redundant. Rossi has long made the standard Winchester clones (of which we're a big fan) but this new Triple Black iteration answers the needs of modern shooters via padded buttstock, big loop lever, picatinny rail with integral peep sight, blackout Cerakote and and threaded barrel. The higher price point over the standard model is substantially less than making these mods yourself - take it from someone who knows firsthand. Allegedly Rossi has retooled their shop and increased CNC applications, so tolerances promise to be better since the new line arrived on market mid 2020. This from their WEBSITE:
