rossi m92 trappers back in production

Out of production for a couple of years due to the relocation of their manufacturing facility, Rossi have finally brought back their awesome Winchester 92 clones in trapper length barrels. I say awesome because they are the only company currently producing this classic and highly utilitarian configuration, in both blued and stainless, in 357MAG/38SPL, 45LC and 44MAG/44SPL, at a good quality and for a price that's truly affordable. The M92 is significantly lighter than the 1873 Model, and was an improved design capable of handling modern loads, so it's perfectly suited for today's shooter. Yes, Rossi was once faulted for poor fit-and-finish but I can attest to the fact that these new rifles have had those imperfections ironed out and I dare say they're on a par with the other levergun manufacturers but with a less spendy pricetag. The 92 may not win any marksmen competitions however anyone who's owned one will also know how fast, powerful and accurate they are for everyday practical shooting. Most modern gunners won't care that the Rossi M92 Trapper has returned...but levergun fans will be rejoicing at this news! Good prices here.

PS Before someone mentions the silly little safety on this rifle, it's actually an import requirement but Rossi was kind enough to make it easily deleted (and NOT install a more intrusive crossbolt safety) with the Button Style Safety Replacement Plug fix from Steve's Guns, which you can buy here for $18.95.
